All aboard — the whole class is ready for the school run.
The Wooden Little Friends School Bus brings the excitement of the school day right into your toddler's hands. A friendly bus driver guides four little school children on their daily journey, and the easy-lift lid pops off to reveal a cozy interior — opening up endless storytelling and small world play. Load everyone up, drive to school, drop them off, and start the route all over again.
What makes this bus special is the thoughtful detail. The four children are designed to be multi-ethnic, celebrating diversity and encouraging inclusive play — so every child can see themselves and their friends in the story. The whole thing is sturdy, chunky, and sized just right for little hands at 18 months and up, with no assembly required. It's compact enough to be a brilliant travel toy too — ideal for playdates, journeys, and quiet time on the go.
It pairs beautifully with the rest of the Vehicles range and makes a wonderful first small world play set alongside Mentari's doll families.

I really love this little school bus set! One of the things I appreciate most is that the pieces are wooden rather than plastic, which gives the set a much nicer feel and makes it seem like something that can hold up well through regular play. The pieces are really cute and work well for imaginative play. My only wish is that the set came with a full set of little people to fill up the bus. It would have made the school-bus theme feel more complete right out of the box. That said, I like that you can combine these with other toys from the Mentari brand, so you can build out the little world over time instead of having everything included in one set.For the price, I think it’s worth it, especially if you already have other Mentari toys or like wooden toys that can be mixed and matched. It’s a simple set, but it opens up a lot of opportunities for pretend play.Overall, I really like the quality, the wooden construction, and how well it can be incorporated with other toys. I just wish a few more little people were included to fill the bus!
My son is 3, so probably on the tail end of playing with this (although with kids you really never know), but he has taken to it right away. It doesn't keep his attention too long just playing with the people, but the bus has been hauled by his tow truck more times than I can remember.I love that its wood. It really has a good solid feel to it. Well made with no sharp edges. All parts work, the roof comes off easily enough for a toddler to be able to open and close, but doesn't fall off during play. Just a nicely crafted toy. The figurines are also fun, and you can smuggle some counting lessons in while you play.
