Count to four, match the shapes, find the colors — first numeracy at its simplest.

The Wooden Count and Match Peg Board is one of the most effective first-counting toys in the Mentari range. The brightly colored board introduces numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4 through a hands-on shape-sorting activity where children match the wooden pegs to the correct holes — and along the way, they're also exploring shape recognition, color matching, and the very earliest concepts of counting and quantity.

It's beautifully simple in design and quietly powerful in what it teaches. Toddlers love the satisfying click of pegs fitting into place, the bright color palette, and the immediate visual feedback when they've worked something out. It's compact, durable, and at $12.99 it's one of the best-value early learning toys in the entire range.

It pairs perfectly with the Counting Buddies, Counting Vegetables, and the rest of Mentari's Early Learning collection.

Fun puzzle for a Toddler.

Our daughter likes this little puzzle. At 10 months old, she’s really starting to pick up things and place things. The toy is well made and the wooden pins are securely fastened to the base. There are no rough edges or splinters. The colors are vivid and the darker baseplate really brings the shapes into focus. It’s a fun puzzle. Right now, she’s good at picking the pieces up but not quite putting them back down on the pegs. We’re getting there. This toy is useful and she is playing with it often on her own. Even when other musical toys are nearby she still likes the wooden puzzle. As an educator, I like it too. It’s good for her dexterity and fine motor skills and better yet, it’s fun for her.
