When I first got this, I was expecting something like a toy I had as a child, where you could easily access the inside. That’s not the case here—you can’t really get into the interior once it’s assembled. While putting it together, I was able to block off the inside, but if I hadn’t, small pieces could easily fall in and be very difficult to retrieve. That said, aside from that one minor drawback, this is a beautifully made set. It’s constructed from real wood and actual fabric, which gives it a high-quality feel. Assembly isn’t overly complicated, as the more difficult parts are already done and the instructions are clear. It also comes with small wooden pirate figures, which is a fun added touch. In terms of size, it’s roughly the length of a 2-liter bottle of soda—maybe slightly smaller, but close.I can’t fully speak to long-term play durability since I purchased this for the kids’ area in my salon rather than for personal use, but based on what I’ve seen so far, the quality is excellent.

Our 4 year old is delighted with the pirate ship set. It like that sustainable rubber wood is used. It is more durable than birch or base wood and it has less negative environmental impact. The timber is all good quality. It is free of cracks and splinters. There are no sharp edges or corners. The paintwork is immaculate. The pirate ship is quick and easy for an adult to assemble. It is quite hefty to carry. Little ones will need help with that. Having three interesting pirate characters to play with and a cannon, helps inspire children's imagination. Well worth the price.

Very impressed with the quailty of this toy, really nice to have what feels like an old fashioned, well crafted wooden toy - while knowing its been built and designed with its environmental footprint in mind. Feels quite heavy, and is a quite large. Putting it together takes about a minute, just three small screws and the rest of it is just slotting in wood and using the elastic to pull up the masts. The cannon and the characters are great and good quailty. Cannot fault this at all. Brilliant for creative play. Would recommend
